Position Overview
Calian is seeking a Clinical Specialist Instructor, in Nursing to help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs.

Responsibilities
- Instruct Clinical Specialty T&E Programs
- Develop lesson plans
- Prepare classing, equipment, job aids and learning tools for instruction
- Set up/break down of training requirements such as dismantling equipment, and classrooms
- Counsel and provide remedial Training and Education to students who are experiencing academic difficulties
- Assess students
- Advise on student performance
- Maintain student files and feedback notes
- Advise on the quality and efficiency of the instruction
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree OR post graduate diploma/certificate from a recognized Canadian University of College or from an equivalent in the following occupations: Health Service Management Officer, Nursing Officer, Pharmacy Officer, Medical Officer, Bio Science Officer, Physiotherapy Officer, Dental Officer, Dental Technician,Physician Assistant
- Must have completed a minimum of twenty training days within the last five years in instructing in a health services in the following occupations: Nursing
- Must hold a valid professional license in good standing with respective governing body for the following occupations: Nursing Officer
Additional Requirements
- You must be a Canadian Citizen
- You must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability Level
