If you’ve flown in a plane over the ocean, your pilot probably communicated to air-traffic control via a satcom gateway that Calian developed. If you’ve listened to satellite radio, Calian technology was used to broadcast it. We’ve helped test some of latest and most advanced communications satellites as they are put into operation. The first-ever landing of a probe on a comet was orchestrated via a deep-space antenna system that Calian provided to the European Space Agency.
Our software solutions help satellite operators orchestrate their satcom networks, squeezing out more capacity and directing it to where it’s needed. We provide satellite operations to the Canadian Space Agency for earth observation satellites as well as provide teleport services through our teleports in Saskatoon and Hawaii. Our products and solutions have been installed on all seven continents.
