{"id":55122,"date":"2026-09-10T16:43:42","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T20:43:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/careers.calian.com\/careers\/df-physician-57450\/"},"modified":"2026-09-14T09:13:37","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T13:13:37","slug":"df-physician-57450","status":"publish","type":"career","link":"https:\/\/careers.calian.com\/fr-ca\/careers\/df-physician-57450\/","title":{"rendered":"Physician"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Position Overview<\/h3>\n<p>Calian is currently seeking physicians to work at the Toronto South Detention Centre.<\/p>\n<p><!--CareersInnerInfo--><\/p>\n<p>Working within an interdisciplinary health care team, the Physician will provide primary care medical services to marginalized and diverse populations within a Toronto-based correctional facility housing patients with complex health issues such as urgent, acute, chronic care, addiction and mental health issues.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing physical examinations, review and document health records, diagnose and treat chronic and acute injuries and mental illness.<\/li>\n<li>A focus on collaboration with health team leads, specialists and community health providers is key in this role.
