Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.<\/p>\n<p><!--CareersInnerInfo--><\/p>\n<h3>Position Overview<\/h3>\n<p>Calian is currently seeking a part-time clinical psychologist to deliver psychological assessment and treatment services to military personnel at the medical clinic situated at CFB Ottawa. The clinical psychologist for this role is expected to be onsite to ensure optimal client care and seamless team integration.<\/p>\n<p>For further information regarding this opportunity, please reach out to Jayda Snell, Health Services Recruiter, via email at jayda.snell@calian.com.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing psycho-diagnostic assessments with an adult population including differential diagnosis.<\/li>\n<li>Providing professional services related to the diagnosis, assessment, evaluation, treatment and prevent of psychological, emotional psycho-physiological, and behaviour disorders with an adult population.<\/li>\n<li>Administering appropriate diagnostic tests for psychometric assessment, interpret the results, and prepare psychological evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting results and interpretations of tests, interviews, and evaluations to the multi-disciplinary team.<\/li>\n<li>Providing treatment of a variety of mental health conditions for Canadian Armed Forces members using evidence-based practice including the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapies along with other modalities of therapy.<\/li>\n<li>Participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary mental health team in case reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Leading and participating in the development, instruction, and counselling during sessions for specific mental illness such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, and stress management.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the identification, development, and evolution of mental health programming.<\/li>\n<li>Creating and maintaining patient records in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p>To be eligible for this position you must meet all the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University by the Canadian Psychological Association or American Psychological Association<\/li>\n<li>Registered as a Psychologist and authorized for autonomous practice with the appropriate provincial licensing body<\/li>\n<li>2 years of full time, post-graduate experience, under a license for autonomous, within the last 5 years completing psycho-diagnostic assessments, including differential diagnosis, and providing using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other various mental health illnesses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.<\/li>\n<li>Current certification or willingness to obtain CPR Level C with AED<\/li>\n<li>Fully bilingual in English &amp; French<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compensation<\/p>\n<p>Based on skills and experience.<\/p>\n<p>Vacancy<\/p>\n<p>We have 1 available position.<\/p>\n<p>Calian est fi&egrave;re de poursuivre une relation contractuelle de longue date avec le minist&egrave;re de la D&eacute;fense nationale (MDN) afin de fournir des services de soins de sant&eacute; aux Forces arm&eacute;es canadiennes.
