This role supports the manufacture and testing of CRPA antenna products, working closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. The role is hands-on and suited to someone who enjoys electronics, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n<p><!--CareersInnerInfo--><\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Test products to ensure compliance to published specifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Load firmware and test Smart Antenna product line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Calibrate and maintain test and production equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Tune ceramic patches as required for products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Triage and perform first-level debugging of failed products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assemble electro-mechanical components by following instructions and drawings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Use tools such as soldering irons, pliers, power screwdrivers, and ultrasonic welders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support production and engineering teams during new product introduction and testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Work safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Production Floor Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with general production tasks such as packing products and handling materials when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other duties as required within the context of the role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic RF knowledge and use of Vector Network Analyzers would be a strong asset,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with ISO9001 and IPC standards for PCBA&rsquo;s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Some experience with SMT soldering (Surface Mount Technology) and rework processes or a strong interest in learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable using assembly tools and working with small components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read and follow schematics and instructions carefully.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A strong focus on safety and quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A team player with good communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be eligible for registration under Canada&rsquo;s Controlled Goods Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compensation<\/p>\n<p>$50,000 &#8211; $55,000<\/p>\n<p>Vacancy<\/p>\n<p>We have 1 available position.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d-none\">#LI-MT1# #SF#<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-50621","career","type-career","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Production Technician - Calian Careers<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/careers.calian.com\/fr-ca\/careers\/sf-production-technician-2487\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"fr_CA\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Production Technician - Calian Careers\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"On-site | Ottawa, ON Position Overview The Production Technician provides technical support to production through product testing, troubleshooting, firmware loading, calibration, and equipment maintenance.
