Position Overview

Calian Health is seeking a full-time-time Pharmacist for Canadian Armed Forces members in their clinic located on Canadian Forces Base Borden.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications and educating patients about their medications.

Liaising with doctors and checking medication inventory will be part of your regular tasks.

You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our Canadian Armed Forces while working independently in the pharmacy.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy; from a recognized Canadian University accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), or any graduate of a foreign university who has successfully met the provincial requirements to obtain a pharmacy license

Completed a National Board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC)

Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

Must have a minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience within the last 5 years providing direct patient care as a clinical or community pharmacist

Current certification or willingness to obtain CPR Level C with AED

Additional Information

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30AM-4:00PM, 37.5 hours/week – 7.5 hours/day

You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
