**This is a permanent hybrid role (1-2 days/week in the North York, Toronto office)

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for independently conducting a wide range of quality-control tests and analysis to ensure the developed products and applications meet and exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
Responsibilities of the QA will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that implemented software modules meet clients’ expectations.
- Close collaboration with other team members and client groups in support of software and production releases.
- Participating in requirement reviews with the full team to identify requirement defects early in the development life cycle.
- Coordinating and executing QA activities – Creating test plans, test cases, execute test cases, and logging and tracking defects using tools like Azure DevOps/Test Manager.
- Interacting with software developers and the systems team to tune code, databases, and track all problem reports to closure.
- Engaging with internal teams such as Business Analyst’s and Developers to ensure product passes quality control.
Qualifications
- A University degree or College diploma in Computer Sciences or other related Major.
- 3+ years Software Quality Assurance experience with a focus on Web Applications and Web APIs.
- 1-2 years of testing in Agile development environments.
- Proven experience creating test cases (unit, GUI, UAT and stress), scripts, utilizing automated tools.
- Formal software development life-cycle experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency with the following technologies, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Microsoft .NET framework
- Automation/Selenium/JMeter/Code UI experience considered to be a desirable asset
- Operational knowledge of C# (additional experience with other programming languages is considered a major asset)
- Solid understanding of application Performance testing, Performance test planning, Script preparation and Reporting.
