Position Overview
Our Production Team is growing, and we’re looking for Production Operators (Students) to support the assembly of our GNSS products over the summer. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with small electronic components and learn to use tools like soldering irons and power screwdrivers. You’ll gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment while working alongside an experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components by following instructions and drawings
- Use tools like soldering irons, pliers, power screwdrivers, and ultrasonic welders
- Work safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Plant Manager
- Support general production tasks such as packing products and moving materials when needed
Qualifications
- Experience with SMT soldering (Surface Mount Technology) is an asset, but not required
- Interest in hands-on work and willingness to learn new skills
- Comfortable using assembly tools and working with small components
- Ability to read and follow instructions carefully
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety and quality
- Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with good communication skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Compensation
$17.60 – $20.00/hour
