Le ou la gestionnaire des services médicaux est responsable de la gestion globale de la prestation des services de santé dans le cadre d’un contrat avec l’ASFC dans la région de Montréal. Ce rôle vise à assurer la qualité des soins, l’efficacité opérationnelle et le respect des exigences réglementaires dans des environnements hautement sécurisés. La personne agit également comme principal point de contact entre les équipes cliniques et le client. Le poste est majoritairement en télétravail, avec une présence régulière requise sur le site de Laval et des déplacements entre deux installations.

Responsabilités

  • Superviser et coordonner des équipes multidisciplinaires (médecins, infirmier(ère)s, travailleurs sociaux, psychologues)
  • Gérer les horaires, la dotation, le recrutement et la performance du personnel
  • Assurer le respect des normes cliniques, des obligations contractuelles et des protocoles de sécurité
  • Veiller à ce que les espaces médicaux soient sécuritaires, confidentiels et adéquatement équipés
  • Agir comme personne-ressource principale auprès de l’ASFC et gérer les enjeux opérationnels
  • Effectuer des visites de site, des suivis et des vérifications opérationnelles
  • Superviser la facturation, le budget et la performance financière du contrat

Qualifications

  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais) requis
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en gestion de services de santé ou d’équipes cliniques
  • Expérience en milieu hospitalier, en soins de longue durée ou dans un contexte similaire (atout)
  • Excellentes aptitudes en leadership, communication et gestion des parties prenantes
  • Expérience en environnement réglementé ou avec des clients gouvernementaux (atout)

Exigences supplémentaires

  • Résider dans la région de Montréal et être en mesure de se déplacer rapidement vers les sites
  • Disponibilité pour une présence d’environ 4 heures par semaine à Laval et déplacements fréquents (~50 %)
  • Permis de conduire valide requis
  • Obtention d’une cote de sécurité (fiabilité – niveau VSC 3) requise
  • Capacité à évoluer dans des environnements hautement sécurisés, sans contact direct avec les personnes détenues

Position Overview

The Medical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing healthcare service delivery for a CBSA detention contract in the Montreal area. This role ensures clinical quality, operational efficiency, and compliance within secure, regulated environments, while acting as the primary liaison between clinical teams and the client. The position is primarily remote with regular onsite presence in Laval and travel between two facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists)
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and workforce performance
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, contractual obligations, and strict security protocols
  • Maintain safe, private, and properly equipped medical environments
  • Act as the main point of contact with CBSA and resolve operational issues
  • Conduct site visits, audits, and staff check-ins
  • Oversee invoicing, budgeting, and financial performance of the contract

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (French/English) required
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing healthcare services or clinical teams
  • Experience in hospitals, long-term care, or similar healthcare environments preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in regulated or government environments is an asset

Additional Requirements

  • Must be based in the Montreal area with ability to reach sites within one hour
  • Availability for ~4 hours/week onsite in Laval and ~50% travel between locations
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Reliability clearance (VSC Level 3) required
  • Ability to work within high-security environments with strict protocols and no direct detainee interaction

Compensation

$85,000 – $95,000
