Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated early-career professional to join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational accounts payable experience who is looking to build their career and gain hands-on exposure to SAP, internal controls, and end-to-end AP processes in a supportive team environment. In this role, you will process vendor invoices and employee expense claims, ensure timely issue resolution, and maintain accurate financial records while developing your technical and problem-solving skills.
This is a hybrid role with 3 office days per week.
Responsibilities
Master data setup in SAP for vendors, independent contractors, and banks
Ensure accurate and timely master data setup based on approved documentation and internal controls
Apply understanding of SAP data structures and troubleshoot standard and non-standard issues with team support as needed
Perform self-review and participate in peer review to maintain accuracy and timeliness
Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims and resolve discrepancies
Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct period and payment terms are met
Follow established internal controls and procedures with guidance and support
Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders and escalate issues appropriately
Support training and knowledge sharing within the team
Manage the accounts payable inbox and maintain complete supporting documentation
Maintain Excel files using intermediate skills including tables, basic formulas, and formatting
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
1–2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience ( graduates with no prior experience but with accounting degree/certification are welcome to apply)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a structured environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Open to learning new systems and processes and building SAP skills
Post-secondary education in accounting is preferred
Additional Requirements
Must be eligible for reliability clearance
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with three days onsite and two days remote
