Position Overview

Calian’s Psychological Services division provides psychological assessment services that support organizations in making informed decisions through high-quality, evidence-based psychological evaluations.

The Clinical Report QA Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, quality, and accuracy of psychological assessment reports. This role involves a specialized focus on reviewing and verifying clinical documentation, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of assessment data, identifying trends and quality issues, and supporting the development of accurate and clinically relevant reports. The position works closely with both clinical and administrative teams to uphold quality standards and ensure customer expectations are met.

The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a standard schedule of 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The role may be based in Burlington or remote, depending on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify psychological assessment reports to ensure they are accurate, coherent, and meet clinical standards.
  • Integrate and validate information from multiple sources, including interviews, psychological tests, and observations.
  • Ensure reports are clinically relevant, well-supported, and aligned with established standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to maintain report quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor product quality through feedback from customers and subject matter experts.
  • Assess quality against industry standards, customer needs, and organizational expectations.
  • Document recurring trends, quality assurance processes, and known issues to support continuous improvement.
  • Identify and communicate quality concerns, particularly those that may impact customers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in all matters related to psychological assessments and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a Psychology, Mental Health, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment processes, psychological testing, and report writing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when documenting and verifying information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and operational teams.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices within a clinical environment.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and identify inconsistencies or trends.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Reliability Status Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain RCMP clearance.
  • Experience with psychometric testing is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset and may be required for some roles.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour
