You will support daily IAM operations, resolve identity and access issues, integrate applications into the IAM environment, and improve identity lifecycle processes. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and improvement-focused team where curiosity, initiative, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the IAM architecture by responding to service requests, project activities, incidents, and ad hoc access needs

  • Audit and enforce access-control policies, role-based access controls, least-privilege principles, and Privileged Access Management programs
  • Implement and maintain IAM automation, processes, and workflows
  • Support user onboarding, offboarding, account management, tokens, and identity lifecycle activities
  • Monitor and maintain multi-factor authentication processes
  • Assess, harmonize, optimize, and manage identity systems, directories, and access policies across the organization
  • Participate in IAM integrations for newly acquired entities while identifying and addressing identity-related risks
  • Produce IAM reports and real-time dashboards to support business needs
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT, HR, and business units to streamline identity lifecycle processes
  • Support IAM-related risk assessments, threat modelling, security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments
  • Conduct access reviews, audits, and compliance assessments
  • Maintain documentation for IAM processes, configurations, and workflows
  • Evaluate IAM tools and technologies that support evolving enterprise requirements
  • Stay current with emerging IAM trends, technologies, and security threats

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, although candidates with a strong IAM foundation and the ability to develop within the role may also be considered
  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory and IAM solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra or a comparable IAM platform such as Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or a similar solution
  • Experience with IAM program implementation and operations
  • Experience with identity and authentication processes, including access management, MFA, onboarding, offboarding, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with IAM-focused incident response
  • Experience implementing IAM solutions in a hybrid-cloud environment
  • Practical interest in or exposure to AI-enabled tools within IAM, Cybersecurity, or process improvement is an asset
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, business units, and organizational functions
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a demonstrated interest in improving processes and operational outcomes

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in a medium-to-large enterprise environment is preferred
  • Experience integrating HR systems and supporting identity lifecycle processes is an asset
  • Experience supporting contractors, temporary workers, or multiple worker populations is an asset
  • Exposure to PAM, RBAC, least privilege, SSO, MFA, access reviews, audits, or compliance assessments is an asset
  • Knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as NIST or ISO is an asset
  • Security or IAM-related vendor certifications are an asset
