  • Développer, maintenir et améliorer les bases de données opérationnelles, les procédures automatisées, les scripts et les outils logiciels
  • Élaborer, valider et optimiser les procédures opérationnelles et initier des actions correctives lorsque nécessaire
  • Diriger les passages impliquant des activités récurrentes de récupération d’anomalies
  • Produire des rapports opérationnels et assurer la maintenance des postes de travail selon les procédures établies
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie, les techniciens et les parties prenantes autorisées afin d’assurer la performance des systèmesQualifications
  • Diplôme d’études postsecondaires, idéalement un D.E.C. en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Minimum de trois ans d’expérience en développement logiciel

This role is responsible for real-time satellite operations as well as the development and maintenance of operational systems and databases. The position requires strong technical expertise, including software development and the application of coding best practices.Responsibilities
  • Perform real-time satellite operations including pre-pass readiness testing, pass execution, and post-pass activities
  • Monitor telemetry to identify anomalies, unexpected satellite states, and limit violations, and lead anomaly recovery activities when required
  • Conduct on-orbit telemetry playback and data verification
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational databases, automated procedures, scripts, and software tools
  • Create, validate, and improve operational procedures and initiate corrective actions when issues are identified
  • Direct passes involving recurring anomaly recovery activities
  • Generate operational reports and maintain workstations in accordance with established procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, technicians, and authorized stakeholders to ensure system performance and reliabilityQualifications
  • Post-secondary education, preferably a D.E.C. in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of software development experience
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and best practices for software development and validation
  • Ability to work in a complex technical and operational environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken EnglishAdditional Requirements
  • Ability to work day, night, and weekend shift schedules
  • Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program requirements and Secret-level security clearance
  • French language skills and experience with RF systems, computer-based control systems, or space operations environments are considered assets
