Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support Calian’s recruitment transformation initiative. This role focuses on the implementation and ongoing configuration of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), translating recruiting and business requirements into scalable, compliant, and user-friendly system configurations that enable efficient hiring and a strong candidate experience. The position also ensures operational administration, governance, and integrity of ATS and Avature data post go-live.

Responsibilities

Liaise with business groups to translate requests into technical solutions and configure Avature for approved changes

Troubleshoot end-user requests and resolve workflow and configuration issues

Facilitate configuration reviews, prioritization, and approval processes with the business

Manage and track a backlog of configuration requests, including testing and closure with stakeholders

Follow change management processes for configuration updates and adhere to Information Systems policies

Triage approved changes using internal and Avature ticketing systems

Participate in user forums and knowledge-sharing communities

Monitor application and technology innovations and inform stakeholders of new capabilities

Support merger and acquisition activities including onboarding new entities and consolidating job requisitions into Avature

Coordinate onboarding and training for new users

Coordinate software releases, refreshes, and related communications for Avature environments

Support integration and interface changes

Maintain role-based access controls and support compliance initiatives including data retention and privacy

Monitor system usage including user counts, AI prompts, and storage thresholds

Conduct annual data reviews and recommend actions aligned with data retention policies

Develop data quality dashboards and coordinate data cleanup processes with business teams

Lead quarterly access and permissions reviews and resolve discrepancies

Configure and manage system notifications related to profiles, credentials, and privacy settings

Trigger periodic system fit assessments with stakeholders

Support stabilization efforts including onboarding and capability transitions

Contribute to system reviews and renewal preparation

Escalate configuration, data governance, and system consumption concerns

Provide training materials and training on Avature usage

Document and maintain configuration procedures

Perform other duties as required within the role

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in recruitment, recruitment operations, HR, or Talent Acquisition

2–3 years of experience in software development or system configuration

Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies

Innovative and forward-thinking mindset toward technology and data governance
