Position Overview

The Manager, Marketing & Communications is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for driving brand awareness, demand generation, and partner marketing effectiveness across all regions of Calian Corporation. This role aligns marketing strategy to revenue objectives, partners closely with Sales leadership, and uses data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance.

This position requires a balance of strategic vision, execution excellence, and operational discipline in a fast-paced, transparent, customer-focused environment within the IT and cybersecurity services landscape.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy aligned to revenue and growth targets
  • Define and track KPIs tied to pipeline generation, brand awareness, and marketing ROI
  • Own the annual marketing plan, budget, and performance reporting
  • Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging channels

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution

  • Design and execute integrated campaigns across digital, content, events, and partner channels
  • Optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion in partnership with Sales and Customer Success
  • Own content strategy and messaging across all customer touchpoints
  • Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize results

Partner & Channel Marketing

  • Manage strategic partner marketing programs and MDF funding
  • Lead co-marketing initiatives with hyperscalers and cybersecurity technology partners

Brand, Communications & PR

  • Own and enforce brand standards and messaging consistency
  • Manage social media strategy focused on demand generation and thought leadership
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry publications, analysts, and influencers
  • Support and execute public relations initiatives

Events & Field Marketing

  • Lead planning and execution of regional events, partner events, and industry conferences
  • Ensure events are aligned with pipeline generation and customer engagement goals

Marketing Operations & Systems

  • Oversee marketing automation and campaign execution using ConnectWise
  • Ensure accurate tracking of campaign spend, attribution, and ROI
  • Establish scalable marketing processes, reporting, and governance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between Marketing, Sales, Technical, and Customer Success teams
  • Support regional teams with tailored marketing initiatives
  • Champion collaboration, transparency, and company culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B technology or cybersecurity marketing
  • Proven success in developing and executing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of IT services, cloud, and cybersecurity buyer journeys
  • Experience with partner/channel marketing and MDF programs
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM tools (ConnectWise preferred)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Other duties as required within the context of the role

Compensation: This role offers a base salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 with eligibility for an incentive bonus as part of the overall compensation package
