Position Overview

Calian is actively seeking talented eLearning Developer to join our team for upcoming hybrid positions with our client, the Canadian Forces Health Services Training Centre. The successful candidates will be required to work on-site in Borden, ON, on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

  • Create multimedia animations using images, sound, and video to enhance course content.
  • Assemble eLearning content and publish courses in alignment with Instructional Design Documents
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to online course interactions and functionality
  • Develop reusable online content that is SCORM-compliant
  • Upload completed courseware to the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Conduct BETA testing and troubleshoot courseware developed for distribution on the LMS

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a two-year college diploma in eLearning Development, Computer Programming, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience within the last ten years as a Courseware Developer
  • Proven experience developing SCORM-compliant content (any version as specified by the client), including content packages and metadata files, for at least one course within the past two years.
  • Designed and developed at least three eLearning courses within the last two years.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to be on site when required in Borden, ON
  • You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
