Position Overview

Calian is actively seeking talented Instructional Designers to join our team for upcoming hybrid positions with our client, the Canadian Forces Health Services Training Centre. The successful candidates will be required to work on-site in Borden, ON, on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging lessons, courses, and training programs
  • Create comprehensive assessment plans aligned with course objectives
  • Develop detailed lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to online course interactions
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create storyboards
  • Administer and maintain eLearning content on the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Upload and manage courseware within the LMS platform

Qualifications

  • Degree in Education or a healthcare-related field, with an Instructional Design Certificate or a Master’s in Distance Education
  • Minimum of five years’ experience within the last 10 years, managing the design and development of educational programs
  • Experience in developing user documentation and instructional materials for at least five projects within the last five years

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to be on site when required in Borden, ON
  • You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
