Position Overview

Reporting to the Sr. HR Business Analyst, the HR Analyst, Process Optimization collaborates with the HR team and internal stakeholders to design, implement, and communicate HR initiatives. These initiatives aim to enhance the employee experience, streamline processes, and provide quality data for decision-making.

The ideal candidate for this position is proactive, results-driven, and focused on delivering a positive customer experience. They possess excellent communication and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. They are adept at critical thinking, maintaining confidentiality, and continuously seeking solutions to improve HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior HR Business Analyst in improving system design and processes, considering unique environments and customer needs
  • Provide end-user support for SAP and SuccessFactors, utilizing documentation and troubleshooting skills
  • Communicate the root cause and corrective actions of reported issues to clients in non-technical terms
  • Respond promptly to end-user requests and issues regarding SuccessFactors
  • Contribute to test plans, create test scripts, and execute testing for new releases, fixes, and improvements
  • Maintain HR processes and procedures, including system documentation, user guides, and training manuals
  • Prepare training materials and assist with training activities for the HR team and various internal stakeholders
  • Present recommendations to the Senior HR Business Analyst for optimizing HR processes through performance monitoring, metric analysis, and reporting
  • Work with stakeholders to create programs supporting employee engagement, training, learning, and education in HR programs
  • Participate in special projects and committees as assigned, conducting research and analysis
  • Document HR business requirements for system changes or enhancements resulting from process improvement efforts or new initiatives
  • Analyze, correct, and update HR system data for data quality assurance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on business administration (ideally Human Resources) is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience with HRIS systems, SAP, and/or SuccessFactors preferred
  • Interest in and knowledge of other HR software
  • Understanding of HR life-cycle practices from onboarding to exit
  • A process improvement mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
